Graduated from the Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, in 2001. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Miami Beach, and her Infectious Diseases Fellowship at the University of Illinois, Chicago. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. She is on the medical staff of Baptist Hospital of Miami, South Miami Hospital and Doctors Hospital.
